Vision: To maximize the performance potential of coaches, athletes and executives.
Methodology: To accomplish our vision, we offer leadership speakers, training seminars, books, publications, and DVDs designed to help both athletic coaches and executives get the absolute best from their players and staff.
History: Championship Performance began in 1996. After assembling a world class Advisory Board to guide our mission, we launched the Championship Performance Coaches Journal, the now definitive resource for athletic coaches on the psychology of peak performance.
Beginning in 2002, we began a series of training seminars for executives titled Coaching Peak Performance that were held throughout the United States. It is now one of several in house leadership training programs we offer. The workbook materials from that program (The Executive Leader) are available for purchase.
In 2004 we assembled a staff of leadership trainers and other speakers to provide keynote presentations, in house workshops, and executive coaching.
In 2008, we began our free e-newsletter – The Motivator for athletic coaches and executive leaders. The free e-newsletter provides monthly tips on maximizing performance.
In 2012, we published Winning the Athletic Mental Game, which contained 33 of the best interviews from the first 15 years of the coaches journal. Each year we have released another new book for coaches including the Football and Basketball Coach’s Game Plans for Leadership, Control Your Off the Field Concerns (For ADs) and Championship Performance Coaching 1 and 2 which are used at several major universities in their coaching leadership masters programs.
Other motivational books include Good to Great Golf, Read This Book Tonight to Help You Win Tomorrow, Total Athlete Development and the Executive Leader. DVD titles include Ultimate Sports Performance mental toughness training clinic, and Peak Performance for the 21st Century.
We look forward to serving you.
